The moon has been a source of much fascination for the world from time immemorial. Invest in a good tripod: The moon can be a tricky subject to click with any amount of success. This is because if your camera shakes when you click the moon, then this will result in poor pictures.
Focus on the lighting: Since the moon emits moonlight which is bright but not quite as bright as sunlight, it is important to ensure that you get your lighting for the camera right. This will ensure that the image turns out the way you want it to.
Use the right lens: The moon is faraway and this means that you need to have the right lens to magnify the moon in your pictures. This may take some tweaking and some experimenting for you to get it right.
Leverage the background: The moon looks even more fascinating and mysterious when you have some other objects flitting in and out of the frame.
